How did we find these wines?
We live in the Languedoc! As your personal, on-site Languedoc-Roussillon somms, with WSET Master’s Certificates in the wines of the Languedoc-Roussillon, we taste over 1,000 wines each year before making our wine club selections, we seek out wines that exhibit finesse and complexity, coupled with a boldly creative flair that defies their locale— ‘New World’ wines in an ‘Old World’ region.
Our wines are made “root to sip” by men and women who plant their own grape vines, care for the plants, harvest the grapes and make the wines. No corporate wines here! These artisans create with their heads and their hearts, inspired by tradition but also unbound by it. To learn more, check out our appellations page and the great freedom provided by the appellation Pays d’Oc IGP.
What states do you ship to?
We ship to most states so it's easier to tell you the states we don't ship to, which are: Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi and Utah. Wish we did ship to those states? Contact your state representative— the squeeky wheel eventually gets the grease!
How much do you charge for shipping?
Wine is heavy, fragile and sensitive to extreme temperatures, so we take great care to get it to its destination in top condition. This can make the cost of shipping wine a little bit shocking! It is our goal to mitigate and absorb those costs as much as possible. We charge standard ground shipping rates based on weight and destination for all orders, except our club collections are charged at flat rate or free shipping depending on number of bottles.
Where is my wine?
We ship with love, but shipping wine is complicated! If you live in Washington state, we make every attempt to pack and ship your wine via UPS within 48 hours of when we receive your order.
If you live outside of Washington state, your wine is first sent from our Seattle warehouse to our third-party shipping vendor in California. At the California location your package is assigned a tracking number and that is emailed to you, however that number will not be active yet. The wines then go into a temperature-controlled long line truck so it can make its way to the shipping gateway closest to your state. Once it’s received in that gateway, your local shipping company (UPS, Fedex, LSO, etc) is notified to pick up the package. At that point, the tracking number you previously received will become active and delivery information will become available.
An adult signature is required, which can create delays in delivery if you are not at home, so you may consider having your wines shipped to your office. Sometimes this whole process, from our door to your door, can take up to three weeks. Please feel free to contact us anytime to check on your shipment!
